Will Hub Host place ads on my site?
Hub Host will never place ads on any of our customer sites.
What forms of payment do you accept?
We accept credit and debit cards as well as bank transfers. Read our payment guide if you need more information or bank account details.
Are your servers Unix/Linux or Windows based?
Our hosting accounts run on CentOS Linux x86, which is identical to Red Hat Enterprise Linux. This does not mean that you need Linux on your computer. You can use any operating system.
Is sales tax included with my monthly or yearly plan?
All taxes and fees are included in your plan price.
Do you offer a web-based control panel for my site?
cPanel is provided to all users at no additional cost. You can find out more about cPanel here or try the demo cPanel account here.
How often will I be billed?
All packages may be paid for using a monthly, quarterly, semi-annual or annual billing cycle.
Can I host my friends websites?
If you choose a hosting package which allows you to host add-on domains, the answer is yes.
How long will it take to setup my account?
If you are paying by credit card (PayPal), your account will be setup automatically within 15 minutes of placing your order. If you choose to pay using bank transfer, please allow up to 24 hours for processing.
Are there any hidden costs, or setup fees?
There are no hidden or extra fees associated with any of our hosting packages.

Domain Name Questions
How long does it take to get my domain working?
It usually takes 24-48 hours for a domain to fully propagate around the internet but you can often start using it before that.
Can I view my site even though my domain's name servers haven't propagated yet?
Yes, to view your website go to: http://hubhost.co.za/~yourusername

What do I set my domains name server's to?
Our nameservers are:
Nameserver 1: ns1.sahubhost.com
Nameserver 2: ns2.sahubhost.com

How do I make sub-domains?
To make a sub-domain login to your control panel and click "domain management" inside of domain management you will see a place to manage and add sub-domains.

FTP Questions
Where can I download a free FTP program?
We recommend downloading FileZilla from http://filezilla-project.org/download.php. Or if you use Firefox there is a very handy FTP add-on called FireFTP.
It's not letting me upload my files what's wrong?
Make sure you are uploading to the right web directory which is the public_html folder.
Why doesn't my ftp password change when I change my cPanel password?
Please allow 24 hours for your FTP password to sync with your cPanel password.

How do I create email accounts?
To create an email account login to your control panel and click add/remove email account's.
What do I put for both incoming and outgoing mail server?
For both incoming and outgoing mail server put mail.yourdomain.com
Where do I go to check my emails using my browser?
You go to http://yourdomain.com/webmail
How can I setup webmail to go directly to horde, roundcube or squirrel mail?
Login to webmail and click the [Enable AutoLoad] link below the one you want to load automatically.
